If you love the idea of being part of a growing company with exciting prospects in mobile and web technologies that create positive impact on people’s lives, then we would love to hear from you. Co-Development Business Unit is hiring for Platform Engineer (Full Stack Engineer) You will work in Singapore Government Agencies Internal Code: A26324 This is a fixed term contract role. The engagement is 1 year. CStack and Airbase are Whole-of-Government runtime platforms that provide secure, multi-tenant Kubernetes and AWS foundations for application teams across 100+ agencies. The platform is expected to support many services and applications, including critical systems where availability, recoverability, and operational discipline matter. We are building an internal developer platform that helps teams deploy, operate, and scale applications with minimal platform-specific knowledge, while inheriting secure defaults, observability, reliability, and compliance guardrails. The platform scope is also expanding into secure remote environments where engineers and AI agent scan run development tasks in the background. This includes isolated workspaces, controlled access to tools and data, auditable workflows, and integration with source control, CI/CD, test execution, and human review. This role is for a platform engineer with strong software engineering fundamentals who can design and build well-tested platform services, APIs, CLIs, internal portal features, infrastructure modules, and developer workflows that other engineers can depend on. The role combines platform product thinking, backend engineering, developer experience, and production engineering. It is not a CI/CD-only, cloud-operations-only, or ticket-driven support role. What will you do? Build Platform Software and Abstractions Design developer-facing abstractions over AWS, Kubernetes, GitOps, observability, and security controls. Develop platform services, APIs, CLIs, infrastructure automation, and internal tooling that make complex infrastructure easier and safer to consume. Define stable interfaces, versioning approaches, error handling, testing strategies, and documentation for platform components. Use AI-assisted engineering tools and workflows, such as Claude Code, spec-driven development, reusable skills, and automated review/test loops, to accelerate delivery while preserving engineering quality. Improve the Internal Developer Experience Contribute to a custom internal developer portal built with TypeScript and Next.js. Build self-service workflows for provisioning, deployment, environment management, observability, and operational readiness. Use delivery and developer experience signals, such as DORA, SPACE, and DX Core 4-style metrics, to understand friction and prioritize targeted platform improvements. Reduce the need for tenant teams to understand Kubernetes, CI/CD, or cloud internals before they can ship safely. Enable Secure Remote Environments and AI Agent Workflows You will help design the platform capabilities needed for human and agent-driven development workflows to be safe, productive, and auditable. Build or integrate isolated development sandboxes, devboxes, or ephemeral workspaces for human and agent-driven workflows. Design controls for identity, authorization, network access, secrets handling, audit logs, work space life cycle, and data boundaries. Integrate remote environments with source control, CI/CD, test execution, artifact generation, and human review flows. Improve setup speed, reproducibility, dependency caching, observability, and failure recovery for unattended or long-running tasks. Support GitOps, IaC, Observability, and Reliability Design reusable GitLab CI/CD and ArgoCD workflows for safe, auditable, repeatable deployments. Design and implement Terraform modules and platform interfaces that address real infrastructure use cases while encoding standards and guardrails. Build observability defaults using Elastic Cloud and Prometheus, including dashboards, alerts, SLOs, and the Four Golden Signals. Improve backup, restore, rollback, incident response, and recovery patterns through better software, automation, defaults, and documentation. Collaborate With Tenants and Platform Stakeholders Work with tenant teams to understand friction in their deployment and operations workflows. Produce clear documentation, examples, runbooks, and onboarding material. Gather feedback from real usage and improve platform capabilities iteratively What are we looking for? Strong programming ability in Go or Python, with experience writing production-grade services, tooling, or automation. Strong TypeScript, React, or Next.js capability, with the ability to contribute meaningfully to a custominternal developer portal and related APIs. Strong software engineering fundamentals: API design, modularity, testing, error handling, maintainability, versioning, and backward compatibility. Hands-on production experience with Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, and ArgoCD. Familiarity with observability and production operations, including logs, metrics, traces, dashboards, alerting, incidents, and recovery. Ability to use AI-assisted development tools responsibly, including writing clear specs, validatinggenerated changes, maintaining tests, and creating reusable prompts, skills, or workflows whereappropriate. Ability to communicate clearly with application teams, platform engineers, security stakeholders, andinternal product owners. Experience building internal developer platforms, self-service portals, or PaaS-style workflows. Experience with secure remote development environments, cloud workspaces, agent sandboxes, orAI-assisted software engineering workflows. Familiarity with secrets management, workload identity, network policy, supply chain security, andauditability. Experience with spec-driven development, AI coding assistants, automated code review, testgeneration, or agentic development workflows. Experience measuring developer productivity or platform adoption using DORA, SPACE, DX Core 4,surveys, telemetry, or workflow analytics. Experience with progressive delivery, SLOs, reliability engineering, database backup and restore, ordisaster recovery testing What do we offer in return? Competitive Compensation: Market competitive salary and variable performance bonus aligned to your skills, impact, and contribution. That number is real. WorkMundi's database shows 144,883 open engineer roles across the world. India has the most with 31,687 jobs, followed by the United States with 30,084. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.

Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.

Next, learn who's hiring. Accenture has posted 2,801 engineer roles. andurilindustries, speechify, and jobgether are also actively recruiting. If you're applying to one of these names, research their hiring patterns and interview style before you apply. That homework pays off.

When you interview, expect the question every engineer hears: 'Tell me about a time you had to debug a problem that wasn't in your job description.' Have a specific story ready—not a general one. Name the tools, the deadline pressure, and what you learned. Hiring managers listen for whether you see problem-solving as part of the role itself, not a favour.
