Quantity Surveyor (Architectural & Interior Works)

Job Description We are a subcontractor specializing in architectural, façade, metal works, and interior finishing works. We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support project costing, tendering, and contract administration. Key Responsibilities * Prepare and evaluate project cost estimates based on drawings, specifications, and Bill of Quantities (BQ) * Handle tender submissions, including pricing, breakdown, and supporting documents * Source and obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors * Perform quantity take-off and cost analysis for various trades * Prepare and submit progress claims, variation orders (VO), and final accounts * Monitor project costs and ensure works are within budget * Track material usage and project cost performance * Liaise with Project Managers, Site Engineers, and Main Contractors on cost-related matters * Assist in contract administration and documentation Job Requirements * Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building, Civil Engineering, or related field * Minimum 3 years of relevant QS experience, preferably in subcontracting works * Experience in architectural / interior / metal works / façade projects will be an advantage * Good understanding of BQ, cost estimation, and tender process * Able to perform quantity take-off from drawings independently * Familiar with variation claims and progress claims * Proficient in Microsoft Excel * Good analytical, negotiation, and communication skills * Able to work independently and meet deadlines Preferred Skills / Experience * Experience working with Main Contractors in Singapore * Familiar with standard forms of contract (e.g. SIA / PSSCOC) * Experience handling multiple trades and fast-paced projects * Prepare and evaluate project cost estimates based on drawings, specifications, and Bill of Quantities (BQ) * Handle tender submissions, including pricing, breakdown, and supporting documents * Source and obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors * Perform quantity take-off and cost analysis for various trades * Prepare and submit progress claims, variation orders (VO), and final accounts * Monitor project costs and ensure works are within budget * Track material usage and project cost performance * Liaise with Project Managers, Site Engineers, and Main Contractors on cost-related matters * Assist in contract administration and documentation Other Information * Working Location: Office / Project Sites (as required) * Salary: $3,000 – $4,500 (commensurate with experience)
