AWS Cloud Logistics (ACL) is looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager to lead our Data Governance and EDI Integration function. In this role, you will own the end-to-end strategy and execution of data quality, EDI compliance, and system integrations that power visibility across our global supply chain — ensuring planning teams, systems, and operations teams have accurate, timely data to make critical decisions. This is a high-visibility role at the intersection of technical program management, data architecture, and operational excellence. You will define and drive the data governance roadmap, establish EDI compliance frameworks with logistics service providers (LSPs), oversee ASN (Advanced Shipment Notice) and inventory data quality, and serve as the technical authority for data integrations across transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), and supply chain visibility platforms. The ideal candidate is a seasoned technical program manager who thrives in ambiguity, understands data architecture and system integrations, and has a track record of building scalable data governance frameworks in logistics or supply chain environments. You are data-driven, technically deep, and energized by the challenge of ensuring that thousands of shipments and millions of data points flow accurately through our systems every day. Key job responsibilities Own the data governance strategy for ACL's global transportation and inventory visibility systems — defining data quality standards, compliance frameworks, and monitoring mechanisms that ensure accuracy across EDI-214, EDI-852, ASN, and other critical data feeds. Lead EDI compliance programs with logistics service providers (LSPs), establishing performance frameworks, conducting monthly error reviews, identifying schema violations, and driving vendor accountability for data accuracy and timeliness. Oversee data and EDI integrations across transportation management systems, warehouse management systems, real-time shipment tracking platforms, and internal planning systems — partnering with engineering teams to troubleshoot integration issues, define technical requirements, and ensure seamless data flow. Establish and own data quality reporting cadences (WBR/MBR/QBR), providing executive-level visibility on EDI performance, ASN accuracy, inventory discrepancies, and system integration health. Drive cross-functional alignment with business intelligence teams, operations teams, planning teams, and software engineering teams to resolve data quality issues, define new metrics, and ensure downstream consumers (operations, global supply managers, planning) trust the data they rely on. Build scalable frameworks for onboarding new LSPs, suppliers, and systems into our data ecosystem — including EDI setup, schema validation, testing protocols, and go-live readiness criteria. Identify and resolve systemic data issues (timezone discrepancies, schema violations, event mapping errors, inventory mismatches) that impact thousands of shipments, escalating appropriately to director-level leadership and vendor executives when necessary. Partner with engineering and business intelligence teams to automate data quality monitoring, build self-service dashboards, and reduce manual intervention in data validation workflows. Define and continuously improve the end-to-end data lifecycle — from LSP transmission through system ingestion, transformation, and consumption by operations and planning teams. Become team expert on on data governance best practices, EDI standards, and system integration troubleshooting. A day in the life Assess data quality pipeline health across EDI-214, EDI-852, and ASN feeds — identifying LSPs with high error rates, diagnosing root causes (schema violations, timezone issues, event mapping errors), and coordinating fixes with vendor IT/systems PMs and their teams. Lead monthly EDI compliance reviews with logistics service providers — presenting error data, holding vendors accountable for performance, and tracking remediation to completion. Coordinate with business intelligence teams to update data quality dashboards, add new metrics (ASN accuracy, inventory reconciliation), and ensure operations teams have real-time visibility into shipment status and data reliability. Troubleshoot integration issues between transportation management systems, warehouse management systems, and real-time visibility platforms — working with engineering teams to diagnose API failures, data transformation errors, and system latency issues. Pull data from internal systems (TMS, WMS, EDI logs, shipment databases) to conduct root cause analysis on data discrepancies affecting operations teams, global supply managers, or planning forecasts. Lead cross-functional meetings with operations, planning, and engineering stakeholders — setting expectations for data quality SLAs, tracking commitments for system fixes, and escalating blockers that impact business-critical reporting. Identify patterns in data quality issues (repeated schema errors, timezone gaps, inventory mismatches) and propose process improvements or automation opportunities that prevent recurrence and reduce manual intervention. Partner with technology teams to translate manual data validation processes into automated workflows — building monitoring tools, error alerting systems, and self-service capabilities that scale without proportional headcount growth. Basic qualifications 8+ years of technical product or program management experience 6+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday), or experience with data analytics platforms (Power BI, Python, SQL, Tableau) Preferred qualifications Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership Master's degree in computer science, engineering, analytics, mathematics, statistics, IT or equivalent, or Master's degree or above in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or Business Administration Experience troubleshooting system integration issues across transportation management systems, warehouse management systems, and third-party real-time tracking platforms Knowledge of transportation and logistics operations (shipment lifecycle, carrier performance, warehouse operations) Familiarity with ANSI X12 EDI standards and troubleshooting EDI transaction sets (214, 852, 856, 997)
