Key Responsibilities Lead onsite and remote IT support during the go-live period of the warehouse opening. Oversee and maintain Windows, Active Directory, and Azure AD environments, ensuring security best practices are followed. Manage device setup, patching, and software deployment using SCCM, InTune, and Auto Patch. Respond rapidly to incidents and service requests, prioritising security and operational continuity. Monitor and remediate security vulnerabilities, working closely with security operations teams. Document IT infrastructure, changes, incident resolutions, and security actions. Collaborate with warehouse staff, the wider IT and security teams and vendors to resolve technical and security issues. Support business continuity and disaster recovery testing for warehouse systems. Automate operational and security tasks using PowerShell scripts. Participate in security incident response and contribute to continuous improvement of security posture. Required Skills & Experience Extensive experience supporting and securing Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, and Azure AD environments. Strong background in patch management, device compliance (SCCM, InTune), and endpoint security. Demonstrated experience in IT security operations, including vulnerability management and incident response. Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills in high-pressure environments. Effective communicator, able to work collaboratively with technical, non-technical, and security stakeholders. Experience with warehouse, logistics, or large-scale operational IT environments is a plus. Advanced PowerShell scripting ability. Experience with security tools such as Qualys, Defender, or similar platforms. Qualifications Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior IT operations/support or security operations role. Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field. Relevant Microsoft and/or security certifications are an advantage. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
Next, learn who's hiring. Accenture has posted 2,801 engineer roles. andurilindustries, speechify, and jobgether are also actively recruiting. If you're applying to one of these names, research their hiring patterns and interview style before you apply. That homework pays off.
When you interview, expect the question every engineer hears: 'Tell me about a time you had to debug a problem that wasn't in your job description.' Have a specific story ready—not a general one. Name the tools, the deadline pressure, and what you learned. Hiring managers listen for whether you see problem-solving as part of the role itself, not a favour.
