About The Role We are looking for a Systems Engineer to join our Infrastructure Engineering team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate who is passionate about Python development, automation, and large-scale infrastructure systems. As a System Engineer, you will work alongside experienced Systems, Network, and Platform Engineers to build tools and automation that improve operational efficiency, infrastructure visibility, and engineering productivity. You will gain exposure to high-performance compute, networking, cloud infrastructure, and distributed systems while developing practical software solutions that support real-world production environments. This is a hands-on engineering role focused primarily on Python development, automation, data collection, system integrations, and operational tooling. What You’ll Do Develop Python scripts and automation tools that improve infrastructure operations and engineering workflows Build utilities for collecting, analyzing, and reporting infrastructure data from servers, networks, and cloud environments Create dashboards, reports, and automation workflows that improve system visibility and operational efficiency Assist with the development of internal tools used by Systems and Network Engineering teams Work with APIs, databases, and infrastructure services to automate repetitive operational tasks Help improve monitoring, observability, and telemetry systems through scripting and data analysis Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and engineering team meetings Document tools, processes, and automation workflows for internal users Collaborate with senior engineers on projects involving compute, networking, cloud, and platform infrastructure Minimum Qualifications Graduated with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field Experience programming in Python through coursework, personal projects, internships, or open-source contributions Understanding of fundamental computer science concepts and software development practices Familiarity with Linux command-line environments Basic understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, and HTTP Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills 0–2 years of professional work experience in a related field Preferred Qualifications Experience building Python applications, automation tools, or scripts Familiarity with Git and modern software development workflows Experience working with REST APIs Exposure to databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQLite Familiarity with data analysis libraries such as Pandas Experience with Linux system administration or scripting Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools Experience with Docker or containerized applications Interest in distributed systems, networking, infrastructure, or AI/HPC environments Technologies You May Work With Python Git & GitHub Linux REST APIs SQL Databases Pandas Docker Prometheus & Grafana Cloud Infrastructure Platforms Infrastructure Automation Tools What We’re Looking For Someone who enjoys solving problems through code and automation A self-starter who is curious about how large-scale infrastructure systems operate Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn from experienced engineers An individual who can take a project from idea to implementation with guidance from mentors A team player who communicates effectively and seeks feedback Someone excited to build tools that make engineers more productive What You’ll Gain Real-world experience developing software for production infrastructure environments Exposure to large-scale compute, networking, and cloud systems Experience with automation, observability, and operational tooling Opportunities to contribute meaningful code and projects used by engineering teams The range below reflects the base salary for the position. Actual compensation may vary based on job-related factors such as skill set, experience, education, and location. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for bonus, equity, and/or commission programs. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully.
