We are looking for a Full Stack Developer with strong backend engineering experience to join the Paragon Core Engineering team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services while contributing to frontend development where applicable. You will work with modern cloud-native technologies, distributed systems, and cross-functional teams to build secure, reliable, and high-performing applications. How You Will Make An Impact Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot. Build, enhance, and maintain RESTful APIs. Develop secure, scalable, and maintainable software solutions following secure software development practices. Design and maintain event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka. Collaborate closely with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, Site Reliability Engineers (SREs), product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions. Troubleshoot production issues and participate in production support activities, including incident investigation and resolution where applicable. Monitor, optimize, and improve application performance, scalability, reliability, and observability. Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automation initiatives to improve software delivery. Ensure adherence to coding standards, security requirements, testing practices, and quality engineering principles. Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices.
