Role Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Engineer with a strong focus on designing, developing, and maintaining scalable microservices and cloud-native applications. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, deployment, and operational support of microservices that power business-critical applications and platforms. Experience with Databricks, event-driven architectures, and modern DevOps practices is highly desirable. This is a Hybrid position located at our Bangalore, India development center. You will be required to be on-site 2 to 3 days per week. When you are not working on-site, you will be working from your home office. We are only considering candidates within a commutable distance to our Bangalore office and are not offering relocation assistance at this time. Position Details About The Role Design, develop, deploy, and maintain scalable microservices and cloud-native applications that power business-critical platform capabilities. Architect and implement event-driven solutions using Apache Kafka and related messaging technologies to enable reliable, high-throughput integrations. Build and optimise backend services, APIs, and distributed systems using GoLang, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Databricks, and AWS cloud services. Own the end-to-end software development lifecycle, including architecture, coding, testing, deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and operational excellence. About You 5–7 years of software engineering experience with deep expertise in microservices architecture, backend development, and distributed systems. Hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and Amazon EKS for building, deploying, and operating cloud-native applications at scale. Strong proficiency in GoLang, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Databricks, API design, and event-driven architectures built on Apache Kafka. Experience with Agentic AI concepts and practical use of AI-powered engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, and other developer productivity platforms. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
Next, learn who's hiring. Accenture has posted 2,801 engineer roles. andurilindustries, speechify, and jobgether are also actively recruiting. If you're applying to one of these names, research their hiring patterns and interview style before you apply. That homework pays off.
When you interview, expect the question every engineer hears: 'Tell me about a time you had to debug a problem that wasn't in your job description.' Have a specific story ready—not a general one. Name the tools, the deadline pressure, and what you learned. Hiring managers listen for whether you see problem-solving as part of the role itself, not a favour.
