At our Malaysian Global Delivery Centre, we support our global business in the development of software products to support our customer mission covering product domains such as geospatial, cybersecurity and complex data analytics platforms. We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate to work as a React Developer as part of an agile development team. Interview Process Our interview process includes an in-person deep dive into the projects and experiences listed on your CV. Please ensure your CV accurately reflects your hands-on experience rather than rely on AI generated content. You will be expected to discuss the technical contributions listed in your CV in detail. What You Will Be Doing Design and implement responsive web interfaces using React, Typescript, TanStack Query and other related technologies. Write clean, modular, and maintainable code with comprehensive unit tests, adhering to industry best practices and coding standards. Support high level estimation and sprint planning following agile methodologies. Debug issues raised by clients and the test team to ensure swift resolution. Experience with backend technologies such as Java or Python an advantage Role Requirements Must be a Malaysian citizen or on a visa which does not require company sponsorship Experience with FE technologies such as React, Typescript and TanStack Query a priority, backend experience in languages such as Java or Python an advantage Ideal candidate has at least 4 years of relevant work experience Should possess at least a bachelor’s degree in computer science / information technology / engineering or equivalent with minimum CGPA 3.00 Strong English communication skills What We Offer An exciting opportunity to be part of the development of new product lines presenting a high level of technical challenge. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
Next, learn who's hiring. Accenture has posted 2,801 engineer roles. andurilindustries, speechify, and jobgether are also actively recruiting. If you're applying to one of these names, research their hiring patterns and interview style before you apply. That homework pays off.
When you interview, expect the question every engineer hears: 'Tell me about a time you had to debug a problem that wasn't in your job description.' Have a specific story ready—not a general one. Name the tools, the deadline pressure, and what you learned. Hiring managers listen for whether you see problem-solving as part of the role itself, not a favour.
