The firm’s active, multi-manager model demands flexible, scalable technology and advanced proprietary systems, including the development of next-generation analytical and trading capabilities. Within this environment, the Core Technology group develops systems and processes that support critical infrastructure functions across Treasury, Middle Office, Operations, Finance, and Compliance. The Core Technology Support & DevOps Team works across a modern technology stack that includes Python, Scala, Java, Angular, Kafka, and AWS platforms. What You'll Do Provide day-to-day support for multiple systems across MLP Deliver hands-on operational support to improve software delivery and the end-user experience Support projects end to end across Middle Office and Operations systems Drive process improvements through automation and the use of AI tools Lead application onboarding initiatives across the team’s platform environment What You Bring 5+ years of experience in a technical support role within financial services or investment management Strong interest in building a long-term career at a leading alternative investment firm Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred Strong problem-solving, analytical, and teamwork skills Clear written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and a consistent, organized approach to execution Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment Experience with AWS cloud technologies and AI tooling is a plus

That number is real. WorkMundi's database shows 144,883 open engineer roles across the world. India has the most with 31,687 jobs, followed by the United States with 30,084. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
Next, learn who's hiring. Accenture has posted 2,801 engineer roles. andurilindustries, speechify, and jobgether are also actively recruiting. If you're applying to one of these names, research their hiring patterns and interview style before you apply. That homework pays off.
