How You’ll Help Us Connect The World As an R&D Process Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, validating, and industrializing manufacturing processes for new microwave antenna products. The role focuses on tooling development, DFM/DFA implementation, PFMEA, process documentation, and manufacturing readiness, ensuring a seamless transfer of robust and scalable processes to the NPI and production teams. You Will Make An Impact By Developing and validating manufacturing processes for new microwave antenna products from prototype through production readiness. Designing, developing, and implementing manufacturing tooling, fixtures, gauges, and assembly aids to ensure repeatable and efficient production. Leading Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) activities during product development to optimize cost, quality, and manufacturability. Creating and maintaining manufacturing documentation including process flows, work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), control plans, and process specifications. Conducting PFMEA, risk assessments, and process capability studies to identify and mitigate manufacturing risks early in the product development cycle. Defining critical process parameters, acceptance criteria, and validation requirements to ensure robust product performance and quality. Planning and executing prototype, engineering, and pilot builds, incorporating lessons learned into final manufacturing processes. Collaborating with Design Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing teams to ensure seamless product industrialization. Driving process optimization initiatives focused on yield improvement, cycle time reduction, automation opportunities, and cost-effective manufacturing solutions. Preparing comprehensive process transfer packages and provide technical handover to NPI / Manufacturing Engineering teams for successful production launch. Required Qualifications For Consideration Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics & Communication / Mechanical / Electrical. 7+ years of experience in R&D / Manufacturing Process Engineering. Expertise in manufacturing process development, industrialization, and process validation. Experience in tooling, fixture, and gauge design. Strong knowledge of DFM, DFA, PFMEA, and risk assessment. Proficiency in process documentation (Process Flows, SOPs, Work Instructions, Control Plans). Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and structured problem-solving methodologies. Strong project management, cross-functional collaboration, and communication skills. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
Next, learn who's hiring. Accenture has posted 2,801 engineer roles. andurilindustries, speechify, and jobgether are also actively recruiting. If you're applying to one of these names, research their hiring patterns and interview style before you apply. That homework pays off.
When you interview, expect the question every engineer hears: 'Tell me about a time you had to debug a problem that wasn't in your job description.' Have a specific story ready—not a general one. Name the tools, the deadline pressure, and what you learned. Hiring managers listen for whether you see problem-solving as part of the role itself, not a favour.
