Your Key Responsibilities Manage and grow direct and indirect customer accounts within CEE, with focus on OEMs and machine builders. Drive product specifications on new designs and expand solutions on existing applications. Collaborate with distributors and local partner managers and internal teams in a team-selling environment. Influence purchasing decisions using a consultative sales approach. Execute structured sales processes including account planning, territory management, and CRM pipeline control. Communicate product value and differentiation through technical and commercial discussions. Support customers with customized solutions in close collaboration with sector team & PLM where standard products are insufficient. Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities and market insights. Represent the company at customer meetings, trade shows, and partner events. Your Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Business, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience. Minimum 5 years of technical or application sales experience in an industrial environment. Experience with linear motion or motion control solutions is a strong advantage. Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of motion control or industrial automation products. Ability to translate application knowledge into customer value and growth opportunities. Proven relationship-building skills with customers, distributors, and internal stakeholders. Effective planning, prioritization, and results-driven execution. Confident communicator across technical and executive audiences. Collaborative and adaptable within a matrix organization. Strong presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills. Analytical and structured approach to account and opportunity management. Experience with CRM systems, forecasting, and sales methodologies. Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Power BI, Teams, and Excel familiarity is a plus. Proactive communication style with a strong customer focus. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
Next, learn who's hiring. Accenture has posted 2,801 engineer roles. andurilindustries, speechify, and jobgether are also actively recruiting. If you're applying to one of these names, research their hiring patterns and interview style before you apply. That homework pays off.
When you interview, expect the question every engineer hears: 'Tell me about a time you had to debug a problem that wasn't in your job description.' Have a specific story ready—not a general one. Name the tools, the deadline pressure, and what you learned. Hiring managers listen for whether you see problem-solving as part of the role itself, not a favour.
