Infosys is looking for SCON who can Design, build, and manage scalable, secure AWS cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines to enable reliable and efficient application delivery. Required Skills Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Mississauga, Ontario or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel. Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. Required Responsibilities Design & manage AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, Lambda) Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation) Automate build, release, and operational workflows Monitor system performance, availability, and cost optimization Ensure cloud security, compliance, and access controls (IAM, KMS) Troubleshoot production issues and drive RCA Collaborate with Dev, QA, and Ops teams for seamless releases Required Skills Strong AWS expertise (core services + architecture) CI/CD tools: Jenkins / GitLab CI / CodePipeline IaC: Terraform / CloudFormation Containers: Docker, Kubernetes (EKS/ECS) Scripting: Python / Bash Monitoring: CloudWatch / Prometheus / Grafana Good understanding of networking, security, and Linux Min 5 years in DevOps / Cloud engineering Hands-on AWS deployment and automation experience The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
Next, learn who's hiring. Accenture has posted 2,801 engineer roles. andurilindustries, speechify, and jobgether are also actively recruiting. If you're applying to one of these names, research their hiring patterns and interview style before you apply. That homework pays off.
When you interview, expect the question every engineer hears: 'Tell me about a time you had to debug a problem that wasn't in your job description.' Have a specific story ready—not a general one. Name the tools, the deadline pressure, and what you learned. Hiring managers listen for whether you see problem-solving as part of the role itself, not a favour.
