The Opportunity In this role you will design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects, cost-effectively and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards and safety requirements. How You’ll Make An Impact You will understand and design of Electrical Power Systems and controls Preferably knowledge on IEC/IEEE standards. To successfully take on this position, you need to be thorough and structured with a high technical interest and strive for good solutions within the set time limits. You will be involved in projects, tenders, base work. To grow with each task, enabling yourself to develop and take more and more responsibility. HVDC is a complex product, there is always more to learn. You will model and study the stability of HVDC system through simulations in PSCAD/EMTDC, PSSE, Power factory and design the controllers. You will handle the interface with other interfacing departments. Ensuring you understand their needs, and they yours, and to work for a good corporation for best end results together. You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. Your Background You should have B.E. EEE (> 5 years experience)/ Master of Engineering - Power System (3 to 18 years experience)/ PhD - Power System (1 to 5 years experience). Extensive knowledge of Power Systems studies and modelling of electrical network /HVDC/FACT. Preferably Understanding application of Power Electronics in HV/EHV system like HVDC and FACTS and proven skills in using computers as a calculation tool. Preferably experience of power system simulation tools such as PSSE, EMTDC /PSCAD, Power Factory and calculations in Matlab / Mathcad. Extensive knowledge of Power Systems equipment and their purpose, such as Power Transformers, Capacitors, Reactors, Instrument Transformer and measuring equipment, Circuit Breakers, Disconnector, Surge Arrester etc. Knowledge in selection, sizing and integration of above equipment based on customer functional specification, Knowledge of power system as per job description. Power Transmission Projects (EPC)Teamwork, Analytical skills. Strong interpersonal communication skill, fluency in English. Publication date : 2026-01-23
