Your job Guardian Glass is looking for a Process Engineer to join our Process Engineering team in Porto Real, you’ll support a 24/7 float glass operation, partnering closely with operations, reliability, and engineering to improve safety, quality, and productivity. This role offers hands on problem solving, strong project ownership, and clear opportunities to grow as the site continues to evolve. Our Team You’ll be joining a team that is collaborative and closely connected to operations. What You Will Do Evaluate and optimize production equipment for improved production efficiency Optimize production schedules for more efficient labor utilization and yield Develop process and control parameters for operational control and improvement Lead continuous improvement and other complex, team-based projects Improve and upgrade standard operating procedures Work with Reliability and Engineering to install and maintain production equipment Troubleshoot problems that occur during the manufacturing process Support the Operations team in a 24/7 environment Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, metallurgical, materials, chemical, or related field Manufacturing Engineering preferred Experience in a manufacturing environment applying engineering or process improvement methods Experience identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions within a manufacturing or production environment Fluent or advance English speaking (to be tested) What Will Put You Ahead Project management experience Strong analytical, problem-solving and data analysis tools Knowledge of process control systems Experience as a process engineer in a manufacturing or similar industrial environment Who We Are At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
