MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Cloud Software Engineer to join our team in Annapolis Junction, MD. Become an integral part of a diverse team that delivers enterprise infrastructure capabilities for a global workforce performing a wide range of missions in defense of our Nation. It is the contract vehicle for the Enterprise Infrastructure Services organization overseeing MPO’s Enterprise Information Technology (EIT). EIT is MPO’s backbone- platform for all Enterprise users. Data Center & Compute Services is the EIS enabling organization working with customers, Integrated Product Teams (IPT), and vendors to deliver select EIT. Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To Develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements. Review and tests software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results. Utilize software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment. Provide specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components. Provide Help Desk Support; ticket handling/resolution, utilizing JIRA. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of relevant experience OR associate’s degree with 15 years of relevant experience OR high school diploma with 20 years of relevant experience as a Software Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required Proficiency with React and JavaScript Proficiency with Git/Gitlab; some knowledge and experience with CI/CD Experience with Helm, Kubectl, and Kubernetes Experience with Docker Preferred Qualifications Experience with Flux (FluxCD) Experience with OAuth2 Proxy Experience with Jira and Confluence Clearance Requirements Current active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph Physical Requirements The candidate must be able to move, carry and deliver workstations from inside the office to customer’s desk. The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Must communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
