About The Role We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer – Cloud & Infrastructure Solutions to support the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise network and cloud environments. This role focuses on ensuring reliable, secure, and scalable networking solutions while collaborating with architecture and infrastructure teams to deliver high-quality services aligned with business needs. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience in networking and cloud technologies, with the ability to troubleshoot complex environments and support enterprise-scale operations. What You Will Do Implement, maintain, and optimize network and cloud infrastructure solutions. Support the execution of network architecture designs in alignment with organizational standards. Collaborate with architects and cross-functional teams to deploy and maintain scalable solutions. Monitor network performance and ensure high availability, reliability, and security. Troubleshoot and resolve complex network and cloud-related issues. Configure and manage networking components including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers. Support the implementation of security, compliance, and governance policies. Assist in evaluating new technologies and tools to improve infrastructure performance. Maintain accurate technical documentation and operational procedures. Provide regular updates on incidents, changes, and infrastructure improvements. Who You Are Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience. Typically 4+ years of experience in networking and infrastructure roles. Strong hands-on experience with network technologies (routing, switching, VPNs, firewalls). Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and network protocols. Experience supporting enterprise or large-scale environments. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams. Good communication and documentation skills. Preferred Qualifications Relevant certifications such as: CCNA / CCNP AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate) Azure Administrator Associate Experience with hybrid cloud environments. Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.). Exposure to network monitoring and security tools. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
Next, learn who's hiring. Accenture has posted 2,801 engineer roles. andurilindustries, speechify, and jobgether are also actively recruiting. If you're applying to one of these names, research their hiring patterns and interview style before you apply. That homework pays off.
When you interview, expect the question every engineer hears: 'Tell me about a time you had to debug a problem that wasn't in your job description.' Have a specific story ready—not a general one. Name the tools, the deadline pressure, and what you learned. Hiring managers listen for whether you see problem-solving as part of the role itself, not a favour.
