This role will focus primarily on system integrations, back-end development, application maintenance, and front-end development across a range of business-critical systems. As a mid-level developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and improving scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions. Your expertise in .NET technologies, system integrations, databases, and business applications will play an important role in enhancing existing systems, supporting key projects, and solving complex business challenges. Key Responsibilities Investigate complex business and technical challenges, proposing practical and effective solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into technical solutions. Design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot .NET applications, including but not limited to .NET MAUI, WinForms, ASP.NET MVC, ASPX, APIs, console and services. Support and enhance system integrations between internal applications, third-party platforms, and external services. Develop and maintain data integration processes, including data extraction, transformation, and loading using the SQL Server stack. Work with third-party vendors and internal stakeholders to integrate external systems with existing business applications. Conduct testing, debugging, and performance analysis to ensure applications are reliable, secure, and efficient. Optimize existing systems, processes, and infrastructure to improve scalability, performance, and maintainability. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to integrations, back-end systems, front-end applications, and in-house customizations. Provide technical support for business systems and contribute to ongoing application improvements. Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and development best practices to support continuous improvement. Work collaboratively as part of a team, contributing to shared goals and supporting the organization’s broader objectives. Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Minimum of 4 years of experience as a .NET Full Stack Developer, ideally with a focus on system integrations and back-end development. Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET MVC, ASPX, .NET Framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related technologies. Experience developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting APIs, services, and web-based applications. Strong experience with database technologies, including SQL Server and MySQL. Knowledge of data modelling, query optimization, stored procedures, and performance tuning. Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), including report creation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Experience using JIRA for issue tracking, sprint planning, task management, and collaboration. Solid understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, coding standards, and development best practices. Experience with web service protocols and integration technologies, including REST, SOAP, JSON, and XML. Proven ability to work with third-party APIs and integrate external platforms with internal systems. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS is considered an asset. Familiarity with microservices architecture is considered an asset. Experience with ERP solutions such as Sage 300 and Sage CRM is considered an asset. Experience with the Google Marketing Platform, particularly Google Analytics, is considered an asset. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proven ability to deliver high-quality work on time and within scope. A proactive, collaborative, and team-oriented mindset.
