Your Shoes To Fill Frontend, backend, UI, markup, database - you are an all-rounder and design and develop complex web applications, services and modules for our e-commerce systems using agile software development methods. As a digital polyglot, you implement responsive web interfaces, prototypes, and screen designs in HTML5, CSS and JavaScript, integrate our store with internal and external systems via APIs and database gating and ensure continuous improvement of the entire website architecture. You ensure code quality and performance, stay up to date with the latest technological developments and maintain and expand our store for our (internal) customers. Integrate the shop with internal and external systems through APIs and database gating, including seamless integration with Sales force Commerce Cloud. Your teamwork skills are holistic and practice-oriented, you cooperate and communicate with the co-developers, product owners, web designers, the UX manager, the SEO & performance marketing and web analytics teams, supervise external suppliers, technical teams and consultants/developers and always work in an interdisciplinary and agile manner. Your Walk Of Life University degree in computer science or equivalent with good knowledge of HTML5, CSS and JavaScript. 3-5 years of professional experience as Solution Engineer, E-Commerce Specialist or Project lead, with focused emphasis on Salesforce Commerce Cloud (e.g. Demandware), or an equivalent position. Familiarity with some additional programming languages & frameworks (Java, C, PHP, Python, shell scripting), databases (MySQL, SQLite, Elastic Search), services (Amazon Web, Google Analytics and Tag Manager) and concepts (client-server, REST APIs, OOP, computer architecture, design patterns). Practical experience with Atlassian JIRA & Confluence. Good understanding of Agile web development processes (Scrum, Kanban). Fluency in English Strong analytical and conceptual skills, detail orientation and willingness to learn continuously.
