We are now looking for a Backend Developer to join our Stockholm office on a 12-month fixed-term contract, contributing to the continued development of Mestro. Your Tasks: Develop, Deploy, and Drive Backend Excellence As a Backend Developer, you will be part of the team that designs, develops, and maintains the backend systems powering the Mestro platform. You will work closely with product owners, architects, and frontend developers to deliver technical solutions aligned with business goals. You will: Develop and maintain backend services for the Mestro platform. Contribute to architectural and technical discussions and decisions. Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications in Azure and Kubernetes environments. Write clean, well-tested code and participate in code reviews. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine requirements and ensure quality delivery. Share knowledge and support colleagues in their development. Your Profile: A Solid Backend Developer Who Takes Ownership You are a solid backend developer who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You write clean code, take ownership of your work, and are eager to keep learning. You Are the Ideal Candidate If You: Have 3–5 years of professional experience in backend development. Have good knowledge of Java, MS SQL, and Azure. Have Experience working with Kubernetes. Have Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and modern software architecture. Are Comfortable participating in code reviews. Have Good communication skills in English. Nice to have: Experience with microservice architectures. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Background in energy management or data analytics domains. What Can You Expect from Us?
