This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain DevOps processes and tools, and will be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of Bunge's technology operations. Essential Functions: Design, implementation, and maintenance of DevOps processes and tools, including CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and monitoring and alerting systems. Collaborate with development teams to ensure that code is released frequently and reliably, and that deployments are smooth and efficient. Work with infrastructure and cloud teams to ensure that the underlying infrastructure is scalable, reliable, and secure. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to identify and eliminate bottlenecks, reduce lead times, and improve the overall efficiency of Bunge's technology operations. Monitor and optimize infrastructure performance, including servers, networks, and cloud environments. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues and incidents in a timely manner. Stay up-to-date on the latest DevOps trends and technologies, and share knowledge with the team. Use knowledge of Bunge’s business, structure and strategy to develop innovative solutions to improve results or eliminate problems. Drive results through high standards, focus on key priorities, organization, and preparing others for change. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field. 3-5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering.. Very good knowledge of English in general. Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices. Experience with CI/CD tools such as Bamboo, GitLab, GitHub, BitBucket or Azure DevOps. Knowledge of infrastructure management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef. Solid experience with containerization such as Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes. Solid knowledge about security aspects in cloud and on-premise. Proficient in scripting languages such as Python or Bash. Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure where GCP is preferred. Experience with monitoring software such as Datadog, Zabbix, Kibana etc. Hand-on coding, deploying, and supporting large scale, serverless architectures. Infrastructure provisioning with Terraform or CloudFormation (IaaC). Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. That number is real. WorkMundi's database shows 144,883 open engineer roles across the world. India has the most with 31,687 jobs, followed by the United States with 30,084. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
Next, learn who's hiring. Accenture has posted 2,801 engineer roles. andurilindustries, speechify, and jobgether are also actively recruiting. If you're applying to one of these names, research their hiring patterns and interview style before you apply. That homework pays off.
When you interview, expect the question every engineer hears: 'Tell me about a time you had to debug a problem that wasn't in your job description.' Have a specific story ready—not a general one. Name the tools, the deadline pressure, and what you learned. Hiring managers listen for whether you see problem-solving as part of the role itself, not a favour.
