A QA Engineer who can ensure end‑to‑end software quality across the full delivery lifecycle. Work Location Hybrid. Madrid city center (Sol area). 3 days a week in the office + 2 days remote. Main Tasks And Accountabilities Will Be Ensure end‑to‑end software quality across the full delivery lifecycle within Agile teams. Design, execute, and maintain test cases covering functional, regression, and end‑to‑end scenarios. Perform manual and exploratory testing to validate business and technical requirements. Validate system integrations, including REST API testing. Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring proper follow‑up and resolution. Collaborate closely with developers, Product Owners, and other stakeholders. Participate in backlog refinement and early validation of requirements to ensure testability. Execute and document tests in an audit‑proof manner, ensuring traceability and evidence. Contribute to continuous improvement of QA practices and testing approaches within the team. What UST expects from you? Proven experience as a QA Engineer in Agile delivery teams. Strong test case design (TCD) skills. Experience with functional, regression, and end‑to‑end testing. Experience validating REST APIs and understanding request/response flows. Understanding of end‑to‑end application flows and distributed systems. Experience with defect management and test management tools (e.g. Xray or equivalent). Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts and pipelines. High attention to detail and strong analytical mindset. Clear communication skills with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Ownership of quality and accountability for delivered outcomes. Experience working in regulated, audit‑sensitive environments. Fluency in English. What can we offer? 23 days of Annual Leave plus the 24th and 31st of December as discretionary days! Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully.
