The Opportunity Join our talent network and connect with U.S. clients for flexible, project-based development work as an Agentic AWS DevOps Engineer. You will integrate directly into our client's team and work alongside their existing designers and engineers on a daily basis. What We're Looking For 5+ years of professional DevOps Engineering experience. Advanced English is required. Successful completion of a four-year college degree is required. Extensive experience working with AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, EKS, etc.). Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for cloud-native applications. Proven experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar). Strong background in containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Demonstrated experience leveraging Agentic AI tools to automate DevOps workflows and improve operational efficiency. Deep experience in monitoring, logging, and observability tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana). Practical experience optimizing cloud infrastructure for scalability, performance, and cost efficiency. Solid understanding of security best practices and compliance in cloud environments. Familiar with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar for automation. Ability to work through new and difficult issues and contribute to libraries as needed. Ability to create and maintain continuous integration and delivery of applications. Forensic attention to detail. A positive mindset and a can-do attitude. Experience working on Agile / Scrum teams. Meaningful experience working on large, complex systems. Ability to take extreme ownership over your work. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
