The Perundurai site provides a structured environment for hands-on engineering and technical experience. Role Description The Technician / Jr Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Perundurai. This role involves assisting in daily production and maintenance activities, operating and monitoring machinery, and supporting senior engineers with installation, testing, and troubleshooting of equipment. The Technician / Jr Engineer will help prepare technical reports, maintain documentation, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards. Responsibilities include coordinating with the production team, following standard operating procedures, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor. The role requires active participation in routine inspections, basic preventive maintenance, and timely communication of issues to supervisors. Qualifications Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline, or equivalent technical qualification. Foundational knowledge of industrial machinery, tools, and basic engineering practices. Ability to read technical drawings, follow work instructions, and maintain accurate records. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in working with equipment and processes. Willingness to work on-site in Perundurai and adapt to shift-based schedules if required. Basic computer literacy for data entry, documentation, and communication. Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork in an industrial environment. Prior internship or experience in a manufacturing or engineering setting is an advantage.
