Role Description This is a full-time remote Typesetter role responsible for preparing and formatting text and visual elements for digital and print-ready publications. The Typesetter will arrange content layouts, apply consistent styles, set fonts, spacing, and alignment, and ensure documents meet brand and technical standards. Daily tasks include working with source documents, coordinating with content creators and designers, reviewing proofs, and correcting formatting, typographical, and layout issues. The role also involves managing version control of files, preparing final output for distribution, and responding to formatting-related questions from internal stakeholders. The Typesetter will be expected to meet deadlines, follow established workflows, and contribute to process improvements for more efficient production. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Typesetting skills, including layout, font selection, spacing, and alignment for digital and print materials. Candidates should possess accurate and efficient Typing skills to handle text-heavy documents and make timely revisions. Candidates should possess Adobe InDesign skills for professional page layout, template management, and document preparation. Candidates should possess Customer Service and communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and respond to formatting requests clearly and professionally. Candidates should possess relevant Education or training in publishing, graphic design, communications, or a related field. Additional beneficial qualifications include familiarity with other design or publishing tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop), basic understanding of accessibility standards, strong attention to detail, and experience working in a remote environment. Ability to manage multiple projects, follow style guides, and maintain quality under deadlines is highly desirable.
