Software Developer – Machine Learning & Image Processing Eulitha is a Swiss deep technology company developing advanced lithography equipment for emerging applications in photonics. Our breakthrough technologies enable the development and production of revolutionary devices in fields such as AI systems, Augmented Reality (AR), telecommunications and biological sensors. We work with global technology leaders in developing new solutions for data centers, future near-eye displays, smartphones, flat panel displays, lasers and similar devices. In this position, you will join the Software and Controls group of Eulitha as a Software Developer specializing in machine learning and image processing for optimization of lithographic printing. You will also contribute as a software developer on our lithography systems, working across, control software, and system integration. This is a unique opportunity to work on advanced systems that are shaping the future of photonics, AI, AR, and other high-growth industries. This position reports to the Lead Controls and Software and is located in Würenlos, Switzerland. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain image processing and machine learning pipelines for optimization of lithographic processes Train, evaluate, and deploy ML models, and continuously improve accuracy, robustness, and throughput on production data Develop and maintain software that controls complex lithography equipment, adhering to system specifications and customer requirements Write code in multiple programming languages, including Python and C++, to deliver performant image processing and equipment functionality Provide technical support to internal teams and customers, assisting in the operation, optimization, and troubleshooting of lithography and inspection systems, including on-site service when required Prepare technical documentation such as specifications, reports, and operation manuals to support equipment use and maintenance Contribute to the development and implementation of standardization and quality processes for software development, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices Profile Demonstrated experience in image processing and computer vision, with hands-on experience applying machine learning to image data Work experience in a software development team Familiarity with common ML and image processing frameworks (e.g. PyTorch or TensorFlow, OpenCV) Strong Python programming background; working knowledge of C++ is an advantage As a plus, you re bringing experience connecting and controlling devices, sensors, and actuators, and integrating imaging hardware Proven hands-on technical problem-solving skills Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and tasks efficiently Fluency (written and spoken) in English. Knowledge of German is a plus
