Technical Business Analyst

• Engage with business stakeholders to understand objectives, challenges, and operational requirements. • Facilitate workshops, meetings, and requirement-gathering sessions to elicit and document business needs. • Analyse business processes, data flows, and system interactions to identify improvement opportunities and recommend solutions. • Translate functional and business requirements into detailed technical requirements, user stories, specifications, and solution designs. • Collaborate with development teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and successfully delivered. • Design, develop, and support solutions leveraging .NET technologies, SQL databases, APIs, and associated integration frameworks. • Perform data analysis, data extraction, and validation activities to support business reporting, troubleshooting, and decision-making. • Create and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects to support application functionality and reporting requirements. • Develop and maintain system integrations using RESTful APIs, web services, and modern data exchange protocols. • Analyse application architectures, database structures, and data models to ensure scalable and efficient solutions. • Investigate, diagnose, and resolve complex technical and business issues through structured problem-solving and root cause analysis techniques. • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify risks, dependencies, and technical constraints during solution design and implementation. • Produce high-quality technical documentation, including process flows, solution designs, data mappings, and support procedures. • Support testing activities, including test planning, defect triage, user acceptance testing, and production deployment activities. • Ensure solutions align with organisational standards, security requirements, and best practices. • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to interpret complex business and technical problems. • Experience with Microsoft .NET technologies and SQL Server database environments. • Strong understanding of data structures, relational databases, data modelling, and data integration concepts. • Experience designing, consuming, and supporting APIs and system integrations. • Advanced SQL querying, data extraction, and data analysis capabilities. • Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into clear and actionable technical specifications. • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences. • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with a focus on delivering practical business outcomes. • Experience working within Agile, DevOps, or hybrid delivery environments.
