Job Description About the Role Strong domain knowledge in key practices including ITIL process, performance tuning, SQL partitioning, compression, mirroring and more is essential for this role. This role requires strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, identify defects early in the development cycle, and ensure high-quality product delivery. Experience Required: 15+ years Primary Skills SQL Server Cloud administration T-Sql Power Shell Python SSIS SQL Server Clustering Integration Services Reporting services Analysis services AWS Cloud RDS MySQL Linux SnowFlake Secondary Skills ITIL process performance tuning SQL partitioning compression mirroring replication Always ON automation scripting SQL Server permission/security policies Soft Skills communication documentation responsibility ownership Responsibilities At least 10+ years of SQL DBA experience covering implementation, production support and project work. At least 5+ years of exposure as L3/SME support role. In client facing role(s) globally for at least 5 years. On call support for at least 5 years. Must be willing to take responsibility and ownership instead of waiting to be assigned work. Requirements Excellent communication skills Excellent Documentations skills in MS SharePoint 2010 /2013 Mandatory skills - SQL Server & Cloud administration required skills Senior level Microsoft SQL Server DBA with experience in large and critical environments. Knowledge of performance tuning at both server level and query level. Candidate must have knowledge of perfmon, SQL Server dynamic management views. Knowledge of SQL server internals. Knowledge of SQL partitioning and compression Hands-on experience on mirroring, replication and Always ON Must have automation experience. Good knowledge of scripting. Excellent knowledge of SSIS packages. Hands-on experience on SQL Server Clustering. Hands-on experience on Integration Services, Reporting services and Analysis services Must have good knowledge in SQL Server permission/security policies At least 6 months experience with AWS Cloud RDS MySQL knowledge / experience.
