Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, API, and mobile applications using industry-standard automation frameworks. Create, execute, and manage test plans, test cases, and test scenarios to ensure product quality and reliability. Develop and enhance test automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or similar technologies. Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps. Perform functionality, regression, integration, smoke, and end-to-end testing across multiple environments. Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and define test strategies. Identify, document, track, and verify software defects through resolution. Execute API testing and validation using tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, or similar frameworks. Analyze test results, prepare quality reports, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement. Contribute to quality assurance best practices, process improvements, and test automation initiatives. Participate in code reviews of automation scripts and ensure adherence to coding standards. Document testing processes, automation frameworks, and quality metrics for knowledge sharing. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/EC or MCA. Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in QA Automation or Software Testing. Strong experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or equivalent. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, and C#. Experience in API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, SoapUI, or similar tools. Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps. Good understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and STLC. Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira, TestRail, or Zephyr. Knowledge of SQL and database testing concepts. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Understanding version control systems such as Git. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully.
