About Neo AI is the most significant shift in how work gets done since the advent of the Internet — yet most organizations fail to capture its value. Neo is changing that. Founded by Bhavin Turakhia — Co-Founder of Zeta , Radix , and Titan — Neo is building an integrated, AI-first suite of products that capture work, centralize context, and make AI a first-class participant in every workflow: Tasket — A radically reimagined, AI-native work management platform that centralizes context and makes AI delegation seamless for all work. Friday — AI Assistant, co-worker and agent platform, pre-integrated into Tasket, Studio, Drive and 1000+ SaaS platforms. Studio — AI-native suite for co-creating docs, spreadsheets and diagrams collaboratively with humans and agents. Drive — AI-native repository, where humans and agents can co-work on files. Scribe — AI assistant for meetings that goes beyond note-taking and actually does your work while on the call. About the role As a Frontend Engineer, you will build the web interfaces of the Neo suite — owning features end to end and shipping them to production. We are proponents of leveraging best-in-breed AI tools at every step of the engineering lifecycle — design, development, review, and testing. This requires a different engineering mindset: a lean team of senior, hands-on, AI-adept engineers, resulting in ultra-rapid iteration cycles and fast output. You will work within this approach, using agents fluently to ship fast and validating what they produce. You'll own features end to end, hold a high bar for quality, and grow your craft and judgment on a team of strong engineers who take both seriously. Responsibilities Build Build web interfaces across the Neo suite — turn specs and designs into production UI. Use coding agents to move fast, and validate what they produce against the quality bar before it ships. Craft & quality Implement designs with precision — typography, spacing, motion, and interaction states. Care about performance and accessibility: responsiveness, load times, and correctness with real data. Write clean, typed, testable code and keep your components maintainable. Real-time & data Build interfaces that handle live data and optimistic updates, and integrate cleanly with REST/GraphQL APIs. Collaboration Work with product and design to shape the details of what you build, and contribute to design and architecture discussions on the components you own. Skills AI-native engineering practice — Comfortable building with coding agents across the lifecycle — using specs, agents, and the team's harness to ship fast, and validating what comes back. JavaScript / TypeScript — Solid command of modern JS/TS; clean, typed, maintainable code. A modern framework — Hands-on with React (or Vue/Angular) and its ecosystem — components, state management, and rendering. HTML & CSS — Strong HTML and CSS; can turn a design into a responsive, accurate UI. Design sensibility — A good eye for typography, spacing, and interaction detail; can spot when something's off and fix it. APIs & data — Integrate UIs with REST/GraphQL APIs; comfortable with real-time data and optimistic updates. Performance & cross-browser — Aware of rendering performance and bundle size, and can get a UI working consistently across browsers. Experience & Qualifications 3–6 years building production frontend, with features you've owned from design through ship. Strong with a modern framework (preferably React), JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS. Comfortable using AI coding tools as part of how you work. Bachelor's/Master's in engineering — computer science or equivalent. Equal Opportunity Neo is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. We encourage applicants from all backgrounds, cultures, and communities to apply and believe that a diverse workforce is key to our success.

That number is real. WorkMundi's database shows 144,883 open engineer roles across the world. India has the most with 31,687 jobs, followed by the United States with 30,084. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
Next, learn who's hiring. Accenture has posted 2,801 engineer roles. andurilindustries, speechify, and jobgether are also actively recruiting. If you're applying to one of these names, research their hiring patterns and interview style before you apply. That homework pays off.
When you interview, expect the question every engineer hears: 'Tell me about a time you had to debug a problem that wasn't in your job description.' Have a specific story ready—not a general one. Name the tools, the deadline pressure, and what you learned. Hiring managers listen for whether you see problem-solving as part of the role itself, not a favour.
