This is an opportunity for a mid-level engineer to build and maintain engaging web and native applications within a fast-moving technology environment. You’ll contribute to high-impact products at the intersection of music, media, and technology. The role combines hands-on development with debugging, testing, performance optimization, and technical problem-solving. Accountabilities Develop, maintain, and improve front-end solutions for web and native applications using modern development practices. Build user-facing features with React, React Native, TypeScript, JavaScript, and CSS while maintaining clean, scalable, and efficient code. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues before and after product releases, ensuring a reliable user experience. Write, review, and maintain automated tests to strengthen system resilience, stability, and code quality. Consume and integrate REST APIs and collaborate with engineering teams on technical architecture and problem-solving. Monitor and analyze product and feature metrics to identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Participate actively in technical discussions and contribute to engineering decisions that support product and business objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver product initiatives and improve team efficiency through clear communication. Work with development and deployment tools including GitHub, GitHub Actions, Expo, EAS, and CI/CD workflows. Help maintain reliable applications using monitoring, feature-flagging, and infrastructure tools such as AppSignal and LaunchDarkly. Requirements 3–5 years of professional experience working in a collaborative, team-based engineering environment. Strong understanding of front-end engineering principles, software patterns, data structures, and modern development practices. Advanced experience with React and React Native, with strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript. Solid CSS skills and experience building polished, responsive user interfaces. Practical experience consuming and integrating REST APIs. Familiarity with application monitoring tools such as AppSignal and feature-flagging platforms such as LaunchDarkly. Basic understanding of backend infrastructure and technologies such as MongoDB, Memcache, Redis, Kubernetes, or similar systems. Demonstrated experience building and maintaining user-facing software products. Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to work effectively across departments. Fluent English and excellent written and verbal communication skills. A collaborative, agile mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Interest or previous experience in the music industry is considered a plus. Benefits Fully remote position for candidates based in LATAM.
