Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pharmacist role based in Raipur. The Pharmacist will dispense prescription medications accurately, review and validate prescriptions, and provide clear guidance on dosage, side effects, and drug interactions. The role involves counseling customers on proper medication use, maintaining and updating patient records, and ensuring strict adherence to pharmacy regulations and safety standards. The Pharmacist will manage inventory, check stock levels and expiry dates, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure product availability. The position also includes collaborating with healthcare professionals, supporting over-the-counter medication selection, and participating in quality assurance and compliance audits. Qualifications Relevant educational background, such as a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D), with valid pharmacist registration and license as per local regulations. Strong knowledge of pharmacology, prescription interpretation, drug interactions, and dosage calculations, with attention to accuracy and patient safety. Experience in retail or community pharmacy operations, including dispensing, inventory management, and handling of controlled substances in compliance with legal requirements. Effective communication and customer service skills, with the ability to counsel diverse customers in a clear, respectful, and empathetic manner. Proficiency in using pharmacy management systems or basic healthcare software, and comfort with maintaining digital and paper-based records. Ability to work on-site full-time in Raipur, including availability for shift work, weekends, or extended hours as needed. Strong organizational skills, reliability, and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Familiarity with local healthcare regulations, insurance processes, and standard operating procedures for pharmacies; prior experience in a similar role is an advantage.
