Job Description The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for supporting all Human Resources functional areas by performing a wide variety of administrative and clerical duties. This role serves as a key resource for supporting team member lifecycle, including onboarding, HRIS data management, talent acquisition support, team member engagement and recognition programs and orientation facilitation. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, guest-focused and able to maintain confidentiality while supporting a positive team member experience. Responsibilities Enters, updates, and maintains accurate team member data within Oracle HCM and other HR systems. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies. Responds to and consistently meets the needs of team members in a prompt and professional manner with the highest level of confidentiality, trust, and efficiency. Creates communications via email, memos, flyers, posters, and newsletters. Plans and coordinates team member engagement, recognition and wellness initiatives. Answers and direct all incoming calls to the HR office and walk-up counter, providing first level investigative research and front-line response to internal and external guests related employment, policies and procedures and all other HR programs. Coordinates all aspects of the onboarding process for new team members, serves as primary point of contact for new hire questions and support. Assist with talent sourcing initiatives, job postings and candidate tracking activities. Facilitate New Hire Orientation programs and provide an engaging onboarding experience. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by management. Qualifications Must be able to obtain and maintain valid Missouri Gaming License. Proficient computer skills including knowledge of Oracle program strongly preferred Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, OneDrive, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and the Adobe Suite products. Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organizational and time management abilities. Demonstrated record of previous office experience with a similar degree of comparable complexity Ability to be physically mobile and stand/walk for 8 to 12-hour shifts. Must be committed to providing excellent guest service, portraying a positive, upbeat, high-energy image with a focus on helping and recognizing others. Must be able to work in areas containing dust, secondhand smoke, varying noise and temperature levels, lighting, vibrations, crowds and air quality. Must always present a professional appearance and demeanor. Regular and punctual attendance is required. These skills and abilities are typically acquired through an associate’s degree in business management or related field and at least 1 year related experience, or an equivalent combination of training, educations and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
