Role Description The Accountant is a full-time, on-site position based in Hillsborough, NC. Also, there is some work with contracts, eviction filing, and Collections. The role also involves working closely with property management teams to ensure timely invoicing, vendor payments, and clear financial reporting. Qualifications Strong knowledge of general accounting principles, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations. Proficiency with accounting software (preferably AppFolio experience, but will train the right person if necessary) spreadsheets, and other financial reporting tools. Ability to prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and cash flow reports. Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and strong organizational and time management skills. Effective communication skills for working with internal teams, clients, and vendors. Capability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information responsibly. Experience in real estate, property management, or small business environments is a plus. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
