Role Description The General Dentist is responsible for providing comprehensive dental care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and delivery of preventive and restorative procedures. Day-to-day tasks include conducting oral examinations, interpreting diagnostic tests, performing fillings, extractions, root canal treatments, scaling and polishing, and other common dental procedures. The role involves educating patients on oral hygiene practices, discussing treatment options, maintaining accurate medical and dental records, and ensuring strict adherence to infection control and clinical safety protocols. The General Dentist will collaborate with other clinical and support staff to ensure a smooth patient experience and effective follow-up care. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Jaipur. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong clinical dentistry skills, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and execution of routine and advanced dental procedures. Candidates should possess sound knowledge of dental radiology, oral pathology, and preventive dentistry to support accurate assessment and long-term patient care. Candidates should possess proficiency in patient communication, counseling, and chairside manner to explain procedures, manage expectations, and reduce anxiety. Candidates should possess skills in maintaining treatment records, managing appointments, and coordinating with support staff for efficient clinic operations. Candidates should possess thorough understanding of infection control standards, sterilization techniques, and clinical safety protocols. Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from a recognized institution; valid registration with the appropriate dental council. Prior experience as a General Dentist in a clinic or hospital setting is preferred, but new graduates with strong clinical training may be considered. Ability to work full time on-site in Jaipur, demonstrate reliability, and contribute to a collaborative, respectful work environment.
