Role: Provides direct patient care in a 19-bed Surgical Progressive Care Unit, caring for high-acuity post-operative patients from diverse surgical specialties including transplant, hepatobiliary, ENT, plastic, orthopedic microsurgery, trauma, and geriatrics. Responsibilities: Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates individualized care in collaboration with the healthcare team. Educates patients and families on managing illnesses, post-treatment care, and medications. Promotes patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Communicates care plans effectively, considering patients' physical, psychosocial, emotional, spiritual, and cultural needs. Qualifications: Valid RN license with a nursing diploma or associate’s degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred. No prior experience necessary; less than two years preferred. Both new graduates and experienced nurses are welcome. Skills & Attributes: Critical nursing assessment, communication, teamwork, and commitment to patient-centered care. Ability to work safely and maintain alertness in a safety-sensitive environment.
