Role: RN Clinical Periop Nurse, responsible for providing high-quality, safe patient care in the operating room environment. Key Responsibilities Perform the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, utilizing evidence-based practices. Deliver relationship-based, patient-centered care tailored to diverse populations and cultural needs. Partner with patients and families through effective communication, education, and updates. Coordinate and document safe, quality care within a collaborative team, supporting performance improvement and research activities. Serve as a preceptor or mentor, promoting professional development and a positive work environment. Participate in protocol development, resource management, and compliance with safety standards and policies. Qualifications & Skills Associates or Bachelor’s Nursing degree preferred. Current RN licensure (single state or multi-state compact). Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS. Minimum 5 years of direct patient care nursing experience. Strong critical thinking, collaboration, and communication skills. Commitment to evidence-based practice, professional growth, and adherence to ethical standards.
