Employment Type: Full-time Location - Global -Remote Shift Options: Thursday to Monday Wednesday to Sunday Monday to Thursday Data Center Network Engineer As a key member of the team, you will lead the planning, design, and implementation of advanced data center network solutions for customers. You will architect high‑performance infrastructures that support AI Factories, large‑scale accelerated computing , and enterprise data center environments . In this role, you will also identify opportunities to improve technology adoption and provide feedback to both engineering and product marketing to help shape technical strategy. What You’ll Be Doing Delivering expert Ethernet guidance throughout the customer engagement lifecycle—designing, architecting, and validating modern data center networks. Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to support server infrastructure, GPU‑accelerated workloads, and AI/ML deployments. Creating and evaluating DevOps automation to streamline network operations, including configuration templates, deployment pipelines, and switch provisioning. Implementing and validating network architectures across customer data centers, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance. Supporting customer design workshops, testing cycles, and Proofs of Concept (PoCs). What We Need To See 7+ years of hands‑on networking experience, including Layer 2/Layer 3 fundamentals, Ethernet switch configuration, TCP/IP concepts, and data center architectures. Proven ability to engage directly with customers to gather requirements, design next‑generation fabric architectures, and validate solutions via lab simulations or PoCs. Strong experience configuring and troubleshooting VXLAN‑EVPN–based data center fabrics. Proficiency with automation tools such as Ansible, Salt, or Puppet. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and optimize customer adoption and operational excellence. Experience delivering knowledge transfer sessions, creating documentation, and supporting deployment handovers for customer engagements. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience; CCNP or equivalent certification is a plus. Ways to Stand Out from the Crowd Strong combination of customer‑facing communication skills and deep technical expertise. Linux administration or engineering certifications. Advanced networking certifications such as CCIE, JNCIE, ACE‑E (Data Center focus preferred). Hands‑on experience with Cumulus Linux / Cumulus OS. Knowledge or certification in InfiniBand networking. Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
