An Oracle Software Engineer III position just opened up at JPL/NASA in Pasadena, CA . In this role you will be administrating organization's database, using database management system to organize and store data. Location: Pasadena, CA 91109 (In Office) Position: Oracle Software Engineer Pay Rate: $47 - 87/hr DOE Duration: 12 months Schedule: 1st shift, 9/80 (You’ll be working 80 hours over 9 days, instead of the traditional 10; So for example, you may work 9-hour days Monday through Thursday, and on Fridays, you either work an 8-hour day or take regular day off.) We do offer paid time offs, holidays, 401k, medical, dental, and vision Job Summary Partner with ESA leads and business stakeholders to review, refine, and document business requirements Conduct fit-gap analyses and deliver clear, actionable solution options Map and document current-state and future-state business processes Recommend Oracle eBS configuration updates that best support future operational needs Support functional design development and ensure alignment with approved requirements Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process and system changes Support functional testing and user training activities Document functional designs, workflows, and any approved enhancements or process adjustments Assist in resolving functional issues and guiding stakeholders through incident closure Provide bi-weekly functional status reporting Required Skills Minimum 5 years of functional Oracle R12.13.x eBS experience Demonstrated experience delivering two or more full cycle Common Inventory implementations as part of broader ODM/MRP deployments in Oracle EBS R12.13.x Deep knowledge of inventory data structures and controls, including item master integrity, sub-inventories, locators, UOM Conversions, lot/serial control, and on-hand balance accuracy Experience with project-based and multi-org inventory models, including common vs project-specific inventory and impacts on costing, planning, and financial reporting Deep understanding of the end-to-end ODM lifecycle, including Inventory, BOM, WIP, MRP, MPS, Purchasing, and Costing Solid understanding of integration points across Inventory, Purchasing, Payables, and Project Accounting Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities Strong business analysis skills, including process mapping, requirements gathering, and documentation Ability to present functional options and recommendations to business stakeholders Ability to interact effectively with project team members and stakeholders Proficiency in MS Office Desired Skills Experience with basic SQL queries Experience with Manufacturing Project Accounting and Project Accounting modules Knowledge of Purchasing ASL processes and configuration Since 1980 APR Consulting, Inc. has provided professional recruiting and contingent workforce solutions to a diverse mix of clients, industries, and skill sets nationwide.
