In this role, you will build and support scalable data solutions that power reporting, analytics, business intelligence, and data-driven decision making across the organization. You will work with modern cloud data technologies including Snowflake, SQL, Matillion, and Azure to develop data pipelines, optimize data warehouse performance, and ensure the delivery of reliable, high-quality data products. This role partners closely with engineers, architects, product teams, analysts, and business stakeholders to transform data into actionable insights. About The Role The Software Engineer within the Data Insights team at McKesson will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data warehouse solutions and pipelines. You will leverage your expertise in SQL, cloud data platforms, and ETL/ELT processes to support the organization’s analytics and reporting needs. Your role involves integrating data from various enterprise systems, ensuring data quality and integrity, and optimizing performance across the data ecosystem. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is key as you translate business requirements into robust, scalable data solutions that enable data-driven decision making. You will also be involved in troubleshooting and resolving data pipeline issues, supporting deployment processes, and adhering to modern development practices such as source control, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
