About the Role Genmab is seeking a Director, Real-World Data & Epidemiology (RWD & Epi) Analytics to lead the design, execution, and communication of observational studies using diverse real-world data (RWD) sources. This strategic leadership role combines expertise in real-world evidence (RWE), epidemiology, observational study design, statistical analytics, data infrastructure, and AI/ML. The successful candidate will generate evidence that informs clinical development, market access, health technology assessment, and health-policy decisions. The position is based in Princeton, New Jersey, with flexibility to work away from the office for 20–40% of a typical schedule, subject to business requirements. Key Responsibilities Lead observational and epidemiologic studies supporting assigned assets and indications. Conduct feasibility assessments across claims, EHR, registries, and patient-generated data sources. Provide expertise in RWE and epidemiological study design and methodology. Support survival and economic modeling for health technology assessment activities. Develop analysis plans, table shells, analytic datasets, statistical programs, and quality-control processes. Present study designs, interim analyses, and final results to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Evaluate emerging data modalities, including genomics, biomarkers, clinical notes, and social determinants of health. Lead pilots and scale successful AI applications across RWD and Epi analytics. Establish standardized processes and governance for study execution, data management, and documentation. Partner with data and digital teams to strengthen analytics infrastructure, reproducibility, security, and compliance. Mentor and coach RWD & Epi scientists and programmers. Contribute to department strategy and cross-functional initiatives. Benefits & Perks For U.S.-based candidates, the proposed salary range is $231,280–$346,920 annually, with actual compensation determined by qualifications, experience, skills, and location. Eligible positions may also receive discretionary bonuses and long-term incentives. Demonstrated expertise in observational study design and statistical methodologies. Experience with survival analysis/modeling, regression analysis, IPTW, MAIC, causal inference, or related methods. Hands-on experience using SAS, R, or Python with real-world claims and/or EHR data. Experience with AI/ML frameworks and advanced analytics. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience in oncology or other complex therapeutic areas. Strong commercial and clinical strategic perspective. Demonstrated research accomplishments and peer-reviewed publications. Experience evaluating and integrating emerging real-world data sources. Experience developing scalable analytics infrastructure and data governance. Proven ability to mentor scientists and programmers and lead cross-functional initiatives. Strong ability to translate complex analytical findings into actionable business and scientific insights.
