Location: Brazil, São Paulo About the Role We are looking for an experienced HR Manager to establish and manage our HR operations in Brazil. This is a key local HR leadership role supporting the company's expansion in the Brazilian market. The HR Manager will be responsible for building the local HR framework, ensuring compliance with Brazilian labor regulations, implementing global HR policies, and supporting the rapid growth of the local team. The ideal candidate will have solid Brazil HR management experience , strong knowledge of Brazilian labor regulations, and the ability to work effectively between Chinese headquarters and local Brazilian employees . Mandarin Chinese and Portuguese are key requirements for this role. Candidates who are already based in Brazil and have local work authorization are strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities Build the Local HR Function: Establish and continuously improve the local HR system in Brazil, covering recruitment, employee relations, HR operations, compensation & benefits, and employment compliance. Brazilian Labor Compliance: Ensure compliance with Brazilian labor laws, employment regulations, social security requirements, payroll-related HR policies, and other local employment requirements. Global HR Policy Implementation: Translate and implement global HR policies and processes in Brazil, while adapting them to local business and regulatory requirements. Team Building & Recruitment: Develop local workforce plans and support the rapid build-out of the Brazil team. Coordinate with local recruitment agencies, headhunters, and other talent partners to identify and hire key local employees. Cross-cultural Communication: Serve as a key HR bridge between the Chinese/global headquarters and the Brazil team, facilitating effective communication and collaboration between Chinese management and local employees. Requirements 4+ years of HR experience , with at least 2 years in an HR Manager, HR Lead, HRBP Lead, or similar HR leadership role . Solid experience across full-cycle HR management , including recruitment, employee relations, HR operations, compensation & benefits, and HR compliance. Strong knowledge of Brazilian labor laws and employment regulations , with practical experience handling local HR compliance matters. Proven experience in local HR management in Brazil , preferably within a multinational company, Chinese company, or rapidly growing international business. Fluent Portuguese or English and Mandarin Chinese are strongly preferred / required , with good English communication skills preferred.
