Job Title: C# /Cloud Platform Location: Oak Brook, IL or Sioux Falls, SD Client: CNH Job Summary We are seeking a hands-on Cloud Platform / DevOps Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure supporting autonomous vehicle data pipelines and distributed systems. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with AWS, Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes, CI/CD, cloud-native development, observability, and high-volume data ingestion . This role combines cloud infrastructure engineering with software development , requiring the ability to build production-quality platform tools and services while maintaining reliable and cost-efficient cloud environments. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform, CDKTF, or AWS CDK . Build highly reliable, scalable, secure, and cost-efficient infrastructure across multiple environments. Develop production-quality platform tooling and services using C#, Node.js, and/or TypeScript . Architect and operate containerized workloads using Kubernetes, ECS, and EKS . Support microservices and distributed systems powering autonomous vehicle data and telemetry pipelines. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps. Implement automated testing, deployment gates, release automation, and infrastructure validation. Develop comprehensive observability and monitoring using Datadog, Splunk, CloudWatch, or similar platforms. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot production issues, and improve reliability and availability. Design and integrate high-volume data ingestion and messaging infrastructure using Kafka, Kinesis, and pub/sub architectures. Support IoT and telemetry workloads requiring high throughput, scalability, and fault tolerance. Implement best practices around security, IAM, networking, logging, monitoring, and cloud cost optimization. Collaborate with software, data, infrastructure, and autonomous vehicle engineering teams. Required Skills Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services . Expertise in Terraform, AWS CDK, or CDKTF . Strong programming experience with C#, Node.js, and/or TypeScript . Experience with Kubernetes, ECS, or EKS . Strong understanding of microservices and distributed systems . Experience building CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation. Experience with Kafka, Kinesis, or other messaging/data streaming technologies . Experience with Datadog, Splunk, CloudWatch, or similar observability tools . Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, IAM, scalability, reliability, and cost optimization. Experience supporting production systems and troubleshooting complex distributed environments. Preferred Qualifications Experience in autonomous vehicles, automotive, IoT, telemetry, or high-volume data platforms . Experience with event-driven and pub/sub architectures. Experience with Docker and containerized application development. Knowledge of cloud security and DevSecOps practices. Experience with highly available, fault-tolerant production platforms. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a hands-on Cloud/Platform Engineer who can both write production code and build cloud infrastructure . Candidates should be comfortable working across AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability, and distributed data systems in a fast-paced engineering environment.
