Sales Executive, All Segments Konetpay (a 21st Century Technologies Group Company) | Lagos, Nigeria | Full-Time | On-Site About Konetpay Konetpay is a CBN-licensed payment gateway and a product of 21st Century Technologies Group, a Lagos-based digital infrastructure company. Konetpay processes payments for merchants across e-commerce, retail, and enterprise, and is in active commercial rollout. We are building our founding sales team. The Role We are looking for a Sales Executive to join as one of our first two commercial hires. You will be responsible for identifying, pitching, and closing merchants across SME, mid-market, and enterprise segments. This is a hunter role. You find your own leads, run your own deals, and own your merchant relationships from first contact through go-live. As the team grows, this role will evolve. Strong performers will have a clear path into segment-specific or senior sales positions. What You Will Do Prospect and acquire merchants across SME, mid-market, and enterprise segments Manage the full sales cycle from outbound prospecting through contract sign-off and merchant go-live Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers at target accounts Work with the Product and Implementation team to ensure merchants are onboarded and transacting Maintain accurate pipeline records and provide regular forecasts Represent Konetpay at industry events and through your professional network What We Are Looking For 3 to 5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in fintech, payments, SaaS, or financial services Demonstrated ability to close deals independently without heavy management oversight Existing network in Nigerian commerce, e-commerce, or financial services is an advantage Comfortable selling to both SME owners and enterprise decision-makers Strong written and verbal communication Organised, self-directed, and comfortable with the ambiguity of an early-stage team Compensation This role carries a base salary plus a performance-based commission structure. Commission is earned on the net fee income generated by your merchant book and is tiered by merchant segment, with meaningful upside for strong performers.
