How you’ll create: ● Serve as the Looker (Core) technical SME during all stages of reporting product development, from requirement gathering, development, design, production launch, and QA. ● Ensure we’re taking full advantage of Looker’s feature set, from AI to custom BI development, to support a rapidly changing and growing global business. ● Collaborate with other key teams (Engineering, IT, Data Governance) to scrutinize business requirements, creatively solution for challenges, and build new reporting products. ● Continuously innovate and enhance our suite of tools to maintain a best-in-class service offering. ● Help drive adoption with business users through targeted support and relevant documentation. Requirements: ● Minimum 5 years of direct experience in Looker Core/LookML development and management for business analytics/reporting products. ● Deep experience with DevOps best practices within the Looker suite. ● Knowledge of React JS, HTML, and CSS languages. ● Proficiency in SQL with proven ability to write complex queries to analyze data. ● Experience with mobile-first application design and best practices. ● Highly accustomed to using Microsoft Office Suite tools. ● Exceptionally detail-oriented with polished written and verbal communication skills. ● Be a critical thinker who values the importance of always putting data into the appropriate context. ● A seasoned team player, accustomed to managing multiple projects with separate clients and deadlines. ● Must love music! Nice-to-haves: ● Experience with eCommerce and UI//UX best practices. ● Experience with paid media and CRM data/tools. ● Experience with Vue.js. ● Familiarity with Google BigQuery. ● A background with Agile development/scrum frameworks.
