We are seeking a Senior System Analyst with strong expertise in Android application ecosystems to bridge business requirements and technical delivery. The ideal candidate has hands-on knowledge of modern Android development practices (MVVM, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines/Flows) and the ability to translate functional needs into scalable solutions. Experience in video streaming or media platforms is preferred, especially in playback workflows or OTT environments. Key Responsibilities Requirement analysis & solution design Technical coordination & delivery System and platform guidance Documentation & process excellence Stakeholder collaboration Continuous improvement Qualifications & Skills Education Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Experience 6–10 years of experience in Android-focused system analysis or technical/business analysis roles. Exposure to large-scale mobile application environments. Technical Skills Strong understanding of Android architecture, app lifecycle, and platform behaviour. Familiarity with MVVM , Clean Architecture , and modular app design with hands on. Understanding of Jetpack Compose , UI state management, and component behaviour (hands-on preferred but not mandatory). Knowledge of Kotlin , Coroutines , and Flow to interpret asynchronous, reactive, and data-driven workflows. Experience with dependency injection frameworks such as Hilt or Dagger for module-level design and dependency mapping. Exposure to RxJava / reactive programming concepts , including observable data streams, threading strategies, and operator behaviour (ability to interpret is sufficient). Ability to read and analyse Kotlin/Java code, logs, crashes, and performance traces. Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, API contract reviews, and backend-mobile integrations. Preferred exposure to video streaming or OTT platforms , including: Playback workflows, buffering, or content delivery pipelines Understanding of HLS/DASH, DRM concepts, or ExoPlayer integrations Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Figma, Postman, Firebase/Crashlytics, and analytics tools. Understanding of CI/CD processes, Git workflows, and release readiness. Soft Skills Excellent analytical and requirement-gathering capability. Strong communication and stakeholder alignment skills. High attention to detail with structured documentation. Ability to drive clarity and resolution across cross-functional teams. Preferred (Additional Advantages) Agile/Scrum environment exposure. Participation in platform modernization initiatives (e.g., Compose migration, modularization).
