Company Description At Savages Corp Limited, we enable manufacturers to thrive in the era of Industry 4.0 by combining cutting-edge technology with deep compliance expertise. Our platforms and services help manufacturing enterprises harness the power of data intelligence, automation, and connected systems to drive smarter decision-making, optimize operations, and accelerate digital transformation. We ensure end-to-end compliance and data protection through robust infrastructure solutions, while streamlining regulatory and operational processes to reduce risk and increase efficiency. Beyond compliance, we design and deliver scalable applications and advanced analytics that empower factories, supply chains, and production environments to become more intelligent, adaptive, and resilient. The Project Manager – Industry 4.0 Transformation Programs is a senior role responsible for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of our flagship automation and digital engineering programs. You own the bridge between complex business challenges and cutting-edge automation solutions. This role owns full project management accountability — scope, schedule, risk, and stakeholder communication — for high-scale, long-term initiatives spanning machine data, logistics, and AI. While our Technical Lead owns architecture and implementation, you own the project management discipline and the "business engine" behind it: defining what problems we solve, managing the schedule and maintaining momentum through a 12+ month project lifecycle — including the middle stretch, where that momentum is hardest to hold. We're looking for a seasoned contractor with both startup and corporate experience - someone who can bring the rigor and governance of a large organization without losing the pace and resourcefulness a high-growth environment demands. Core Responsibilities Project Planning & Governance: Develop and maintain the project charter, scope statement, work breakdown structure (WBS), and schedule for large-scale automation programs. Define milestones, deliverables, and success criteria. Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for client leadership across cross-functional teams. Translate operational needs into structured, technical delivery plans and manage expectations throughout. Scope & Requirements Management: Lead discovery sessions and workshops to surface real business problems and document requirements. Manage scope through formal change control, prioritizing work based on business impact, feasibility, and strategic value. Risk & Issue Management: Maintain a risk register and issue log. Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks; escalate issues per an agreed governance structure. Ensure delivery remains tied to tangible business value, not just technical completion. Schedule Control: Track progress against the project schedule. Manage dependencies, critical path, and resource allocation across workstreams. Communication & Reporting: Produce structured status reports, steering committee updates, and dashboards. Translate technical progress into business-relevant metrics for non-technical stakeholders. Experience & Background PM Track Record: 7–10 years of professional experience in project or program management, specifically within high-growth technical environments. PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification preferred. Digital Transformation & Automation: Proven track record managing Digital Transformation initiatives, ideally within Industry 4.0 or Automation sectors, with an understanding of the shift from legacy operations to smart, data-driven ecosystems. Large-Scale Project Management: Deep experience managing long-term, large-scale projects (12+ months) and significant cross-functional dependencies. Program Delivery: Experience managing projects through periods of significant complexity, including the "middle phase" where maintaining momentum and stakeholder buy-in is hardest. Technical Fluency: Not a hands-on engineering role, but experience in Software Development or Automation Engineering is a strong advantage — you can speak the language of technical teams and translate it for business stakeholders. Languages: Fluent English is required; German is a nice-to-have. What We Are Looking For Rigorous Documentation: You believe that if progress isn't logged in the project management system (Jira/HubSpot), it doesn't exist. You maintain full visibility into project health at all times. Structured Workflow: You follow a strict "Call → Document → Follow-up" process. Every stakeholder interaction results in a written summary and action log within 24 hours. Process & Methodology: You are highly organized and design for scalability, building clear SOPs, RAID logs, and process flows to keep the project stable as it grows. Executive Presence: You bring a calm, confident presence to steering-level discussions and treat internal reporting with the same priority as client-facing work. Start Date As soon as possible Time Zone CET ±2 Contract Type Freelance Remuneration € 25 - € 30 per hour
