The city of the Las Vegas invites applications for Technical Systems Analyst . This position performs a variety of support and technical duties for computer applications and hardware systems for an assigned department, division or work unit, other than the Information Technologies Department. Position may report to the Information Technologies Department in order to support enterprise-wide applications. Minimum Requirements Experience Two years of recent, increasingly responsible computer programming or systems analysis experience. Experience within the business area of assignment is desirable. Training Associate degree from an accredited college or university with major in computer science, information systems or a field closely related to the area of assignment. May substitute combination of equivalent education and related experience. The city assesses 1.5 years of fulltime experience as equivalent to one year of education.
