Role: Senior Data & Cloud Engineer (PL/SQL, Azure & Microsoft Fabric) Location: Orlando, FL Onsite Visa Status: GC/USC - W2 only Experience: 12+ years Job description: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Data & Cloud Engineer to design, develop, modernize, and support enterprise-scale data platforms and reporting solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Oracle PL/SQL development, Azure Cloud services, and Microsoft Fabric, with experience in data integration, data warehousing, analytics, and cloud transformation initiatives. This role will be responsible for migrating, optimizing, and managing data pipelines while ensuring scalability, security, performance, and reliability across the enterprise data ecosystem. Key Responsibilities Data Engineering & Development · Design, develop, and maintain complex Oracle PL/SQL programs, packages, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and performance tuning solutions. · Analyze existing database solutions and recommend modernization opportunities leveraging Azure and Microsoft Fabric. · Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes for large-scale data movement and transformation. · Build and support enterprise data warehouse and data lake solutions. · Perform data modeling, data quality management, and metadata management activities. Microsoft Fabric Responsibilities · Design and implement Microsoft Fabric solutions including: o Fabric Data Factory o Lakehouse o Data Warehouse o OneLake o Notebooks o Real-Time Analytics o Semantic Models o Power BI Integration · Develop data ingestion and transformation pipelines using Fabric. · Optimize Fabric workloads for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency. · Implement end-to-end analytics solutions within the Fabric ecosystem. Azure Cloud Responsibilities · Design and implement cloud-native data solutions using Azure services. · Develop solutions utilizing: o Azure Data Factory (ADF) o Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) o Azure SQL Database o Azure Synapse Analytics o Azure Functions o Azure Key Vault o Azure Monitor o Azure DevOps · Support cloud migration initiatives from on-premises Oracle environments to Azure/Fabric platforms. · Ensure cloud architecture aligns with security, governance, and compliance standards. Governance · Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices. · Ensure data security, governance, and regulatory compliance. · Participate in architecture reviews and technology roadmap planning. Required Qualifications Education · Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field. Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully.
