The company is headquartered in Frankfurt, Germany and has about 87.000 employees in more than 100 locations worldwide. Job Description Clarification of technical issues and simulation objectives. Development of a simulation plan (boundary conditions, method, tools, suitable parameters, etc.) Creation of mechanical simulation cases (including review sessions and traceability) Execution of CAE tasks including functional, durability, strength, thermal, noise and vibration, etc. Discuss, evaluate, and interpret the CAE results according to objective and technical issues (including recommendation) CAE report creation according to test plan (including recommendation) Contribute to the development of new products, analysis methodologies, tools, and techniques. Proactively discussing requirements and problems with other engineers in the group Work proactively, responsibly, professionally, and always in compliance with the company’s reporting structure. Maintaining and developing personal skills and knowledge to ensure the best results. Any other duties as reasonably requested aligned to the job role. Qualifications Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent studies. Mechanical simulation previous experience. Theoretical background of Finite Element Method. Theoretical background on Resistance of Materials. Theoretical and practical aspects of Fatigue of Mechanisms Proficiency in Abaqus and Altair/Siemens tools as Hypermesh and Optistruct; MS Office in general, advanced level on Excel and PowerPoint. English, Advanced Level. Production Processes Knowledge (Stamping, Casting, Machining, Assembly, etc.) Product Development Knowledge (Phases, Milestones, etc.) Mechanical Systems Knowledge. Problem Resolution Capabilities. Methodical, Mathematical and Analytical Abilities, Attention to Details. Capability of Presenting Test Results, Internal and Customer. Additional Information Would be a plus: APQP & FMEA knowledge. Programming skills, preference on Python. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully.
