Role : Sr Application Developer Location : Bay Area , CA (OR) Boston MA – Onsite Role Experience: 10 – 12 Yrs Max Employment Type : Full-Time (No Contract) Salary : $110K/Annum with Benefits Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Application Developer to design, develop, enhance, and maintain scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in any one of the following technology stacks: Java OR Python OR Golang, or .NET , along with experience in APIs, databases, cloud technologies, and modern software development practices. The candidate will work closely with architects, business analysts, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and other developers to deliver high-quality, reliable, and scalable applications. Required Skills Strong hands-on development experience in one or more of the following: Java / Spring Boot Python / Django / Flask / FastAPI Golang / Go C# / .NET / .NET Core Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and software design principles. Experience developing RESTful APIs and web services. Experience with microservices architecture and distributed applications. Strong experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server. Experience with Git and modern source-control practices. Understanding of software development lifecycle, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and CI/CD practices. Experience troubleshooting application issues, debugging code, and improving application performance. Strong understanding of application security, authentication, authorization, and secure coding practices. Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP . Experience with Docker and Kubernetes . Experience with messaging/event-driven technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or AWS SQS/SNS . Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, DynamoDB, or Redis . Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps . Exposure to React, Angular, or other modern frontend technologies is a plus. Experience with automated unit and integration testing. Exposure to application monitoring and observability tools. Experience working with enterprise-scale applications and integrations. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise applications. Develop scalable and high-performance applications using Java OR Python OR Golang, or .NET . Build and integrate REST APIs and backend services. Develop and maintain microservices and distributed applications. Participate in application architecture and technical design discussions. Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-documented code. Perform code reviews and provide technical guidance to team members. Identify and resolve application defects, performance issues, and production problems. Collaborate with QA teams to develop and execute unit, integration, and functional testing. Work with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines and application deployments. Integrate applications with databases, third-party systems, cloud services, and enterprise platforms. Follow established security, coding, testing, and deployment standards. Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives. Create and maintain technical documentation related to application design, APIs, and development processes. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Equivalent professional experience may be considered.
